How this website handles data. Short version: as little as possible.

2. Principle

This website processes as little personal data as is technically possible. It uses no tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no re-targeting. Fonts are served locally from the same origin, not from Google Fonts. No data is passed to third parties beyond the technically necessary components named below.

3. Hosting and delivery

This website is served as a static site via Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare operates a global server network with locations inside the European Union; requests from Europe are usually answered at European locations. Cloudflare is a US company; a transfer of technical connection data (in particular the IP address) to the USA can therefore not be ruled out. The cooperation is based on Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum, which incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR).

When the site is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent) to deliver the site and to fend off attacks. We do not keep server logs ourselves and have no access to raw personal log data.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation).

4. Fonts

The fonts used (Fraunces, Inter Tight, JetBrains Mono) are served from this domain itself. No connection to Google Fonts or other external font services takes place.

5. Email contact

If you contact the studio by email, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and any follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering the inquiry). The data will be deleted once the processing purpose has lapsed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

This website links to external offerings including fridasfussel.studio, a-n-k-a.com, trichiq.com, astraleria.com, propheterie.com, brustkrebs-kompass.de, codeberg.org and github.com. When you click such links, you leave this website. The privacy notices of the respective providers apply.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies. No tracking, no analytics and no third-party scripts are loaded. For this reason, no cookie banner and no consent dialogue under § 25 TDDDG (formerly TTDSG, the German act on data protection in telecommunications and digital services) is required. Cookie banners are only required when non-essential cookies or comparable technologies are in use, which is not the case here.

The only thing stored locally in your browser is your theme preference (light or dark), kept via the Web Storage API. This storage is permissible without consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, because it is strictly necessary for a function (theme switching) you have actively chosen. Nothing is transmitted to a server. The setting is removed when you clear browser data or switch browsers.

Language switching works entirely through separate URLs (German content under /de/, English under /en/, Estonian under /et/) and requires no client-side storage.
